We have to quit screen architect and EA (it looks like SA keeps running in the background) and restart them before we are able to make normal use of SA again. This happens a few times a day.

I have to use ET almost daily at work, and apart from it being particularly slow on our network, the things which annoy me about the program are:

1. Auto log-out. Could you add in a feature in the user profile or maybe the admin section to disable the auto log-out for specific users? I always come back from reading a document to see ET threatening to log me out!

2. Enter button submit log-in form. I like to hit enter to log-in once I've put in my username and password. It's a small deal but its part of the bigger picture for me.

3. Non-IE support. Using ET in Firefox or Chrome is painfully slow, if not completely broken. I see 'Error on page' more than I see my tests, and having to use IE to run ET properly is a bit of a shame.

Once the project is created, it's picklists are entirely independent of the organisations picklists - so editing the values in the organisation picklists will not effect the project. Currently, when you introduce a new status, you need to go and apply that status to your projects.

We recognise that this may not be entirely ideal and we are considering enhancing this feature in a future release.

go to the resources tab and under the project links right click and select add new defect tracker link.
Once you have added the link to the defect tracker you will be able to select the JIRA connection added to the administration area and select the JIRA project you would like to link to.
Once these screens are completed you will return to a summary screen showning all project links, make sure that the JIRA link has been enabled (by default it is disabled) to do this highlight the JIRA link and select the 'Enable' button at the top of the page.

You should now be all linked together with defects and their updates passed back and forth :)

Thanks for your posts. The permissions in ET are applied at two levels, Application level and Project level. Application level permissions override Project level permissions. In version 2.1 if you double click on a user profile in the Admin screen and then got to "Assigned Permissions" you will be given a matrix showing permissions at Project and Application Levels. This should help you identify where the application level permissions need adjusting to ensure the correct project level permissions are applied.

Go to the Admin tab, right click on "Defect Trackers" and select "Add Tracker". In here you can configure a connection to your JIRA studio.
